Starting point & goal

The manufacturer of premium snacks and pet food for dogs and cats has been working with PLEC for several years to carry out an annual structured cost audit. The aim is to identify incorrect deductions at an early stage and to systematically enforce refunds. In fiscal year 2024, the focus was primarily on new processes in the supply chain, personnel changes and stricter Amazon guidelines — while at the same time growing in the seven-digit sales segment.

conclusion

The structured cost audit not only identified refunds of 89,000€ — systematic sources of error were also identified and documented. Close cooperation with the customer enabled outstanding items to be processed quickly and internal processes to be adjusted. This ensures that Amazon prints do not become a black box, even as volumes increase.
